Governors, Headteachers and Senior Leaders are ambassadors and role models for their school. They build and deliver the school ethos and culture to staff, parents/carers and students.

The Aim

A whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing (of staff, students and parents) is fundamental to the philosophy of caring for each other and achieving excellence. This strategic focus enables all members of the school community to develop wellbeing initiatives and flourish, both as individuals and as a collective.

The Vision

To ensure that mental health and wellbeing is a key target on the annual School Improvement Plan. Focusing on positive mental health and wellbeing is everyone’s responsibility, so that children and young people learn to understand and express their feelings, build their confidence, emotional resilience and therefore their capacity to learn.

The Action
